KNOW THE LAW!
Everyone is supposed to know the law, but does
everyone understand it ?
(From MHC Times Aibhe Gilvarry-Editor in chief Mason Hayes Curran)
Advocate Chapotard, reading in the lawyer's journal praises
of himself... written by himself.

Section 10 of the Transport Act 1964:
"if a person is already in receipt of a compensation calculated in the
manner set out in this Schedule the service reckoned as pensionable service
for the purpose of the calculation of such compensation shall not be reckoned
as pensionable service for the purpose of the calculation in the manner set
out in this Schedule of any other compensation, and the aggregate of the first-mentionned
compensation and any other compensation (excluding any compensation paid under
paragraph 2 f this Schedule) shall not exceed the amount of compensation to
which he would have been entitled if it has been based on the aggregate of
his periods of pensionable service and if the service in respect of which
compensation (if any) was paid under paragraph 2 of this Schedule was not

OUR WEBSITE WHY NOT ONLY IN ENGLISH
(Adapted from an AIJA brochure)
INTRODUCTION
When creating our website, we debated vehemently among our partners in what
language to write the site. One partner originally from the United States (he
argued for English), one originally from Belgium (he argued for French), and
we are located in Jerusalem (So why not Hebrew?).
After much considerations, we finally decided not only to create the website
in all three languages, in light of the international nature of our office and
law practice, and with an eye for the future when we assume the English language
will eventually become THE language, we decided to give our full support to
the EU's recent decision calling for EuroEnglish (as published as
detailed below.
However, for convenience, it was recommended to add some improvement, particularly
in the spelling of certain words, and implement a 5-year plan that would develop
the language to produce what will be known as EuroEnglish.
- Finally! We finished the division of the
divorcees' property.
- It's about time, the case ruined both of them!
